RFX SERVER IS BACK UP
Thank you to all those that have donated last night. We where able to get the servers back up quicker than I had hoped. Also let me thank all those that have donated in the past as well.
For those of you that might be a little confused let me clarify. This website, and the streaming server has a cost associated with it. The funds are automatically taken from the Paypal account on a monthly basis to keep these servers up. Sometimes there is a lack of donations so the Paypal account balance gets below what it needs to be, so Paypal will draft funds from my personal bank account to cover these charges. Well my old bank was WaMu which got taken over by Chase. I forgot to update my bank info with Paypal and when the funds went below normal they where unable to get the money from my bank account which is why the server went down. Thanks to donations last night we did not need to wait for me to verify my new bank account with Paypal. So yes I do personally pay for the servers that Radio Free Xangaka uses when there are no donations. So if you do donate, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting the radio.
